Anduril is a Silicon Valley defence ‘disruptor’ founded by Palmer Luckey. The company is formed from former Palantir and Oculus engineers and executives. It provides autonomous tracking systems for the MoD, Border Force, Ukraine, and ICE.
Home Office
Anduril provides its Autonomous Maritime Sentry Towers to the Home Office’s UK Border Force division. These autonomous tracking systems identify “objects of interest” in the Channel, namely, small boats carrying undocumented migrants. This highly militarised technology is kept confidential from the public.
It’s also been reported that the Home Office also has access to Anduril’s autonomous Ghost UAVs. However, despite clear mention of these in an Anduril contract, the Home Office claims that it doesn’t have them. It was a “error”, it said.

Anduril has provided funding to a Foreign Office think-tank, Wilton Park.
