The Ministry of Defence frequently pays public liability claim compensation to private citizens, businesses, and local governments overseas. While it publishes general statistics on these, they are often awkwardly aggregated and non-specific.

Below, I requested FOIs on compensation claims paid by the Ministry of Defence, excluding those paid in the United Kingdom and Kenya. The latter was excluded due to a monumental lawsuit against BATUK (British Army Training Unit Kenya) which saw nearly 8,000 claims settled.
